Are You Stuck in Your Own Point of View?

Confucius once said, “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

And that’s exactly how I used to live my life—complicated, overwhelming, hard. But here’s the thing: life isn’t hard. It’s how we view it that makes it seem that way.

You might be thinking, “But my life is hard!” And I get it—sometimes it really feels that way. But if you stop and reflect for a moment, you might realize that the reason it feels hard is because of how you’re perceiving it.

Let me explain what I mean:

Perception and Judgment: Your Lens on the World

There are two words I want you to remember: perception and judgment. These are the lenses through which you see everything in your life—your job, your relationships, even yourself.

If you feel like life is tough, it’s because you’ve judged it to be tough. Your perception shapes your judgement. It’s a decision you made, even if it’s subconscious. When I started to challenge my own perception, I realized something powerful: Life isn’t as hard as I was making it out to be.

My thoughts, my judgments, were the ones making it complicated. And the best part? I realized that I could change my thoughts, and in doing so, change my experience.

It Starts with How You Think

Have you ever stopped and really observed your thoughts? Most people don’t. Our brains are constantly processing information, but that doesn’t mean we’re actually thinking. The key is to take control of that thinking and choose how you view the world. When I began to take control of my inner world, my outer world started to change. The victim mentality I had carried for so long no longer served me. It only held me back. And I know it’s holding you back too, if you’re still seeing yourself as a victim of your circumstances.

Here’s the Truth: You Are Not a Victim

I know that recovery seems hard, but it’s possible. And a huge part of that recovery starts with shifting how we perceive ourselves and our past.

It starts with letting go of the identity we’ve built around our trauma and accepting that we can create something new.

You Have the Power to Change Your Mindset

I want you to take control of your thinking. I want you to stop seeing your past as something that holds you back, but as a gift that has taught you invaluable lessons. That shift in perspective is life-changing.

Remember this: You won’t find your purpose in your past. It’s waiting for you in your future. Your future self is waiting for you to let go of your mistaken identity and move forward.

Are You Ready to See Things Differently?

The only thing standing between you and the life you truly want is the way you perceive it. The good news is that you have the power to change that right now. It starts with changing how you think and how you see yourself.

I believe in you. You can do this. And I’m here to help.

Take care and take control,
