Once you have your goal written down, now what?

Wherever you are in your business or life, it is really important to read your goal daily and carry it around with you. Why do you want to do this? Because this is where you are going! This is the direction you want to head. You want to remind yourself daily of why you are doing what this, because let’s face it, there can be challenges that come up along the way and we need to be so committed to our goal, that we will do anything to get to where we want to go and this usually means getting out of your comfort zone.

A Goal card is where you want to write down your goal so you have it with you , always.  You can download a copy of a Goal Card sample below we use with our Think Into Results (TIR) students. goal card template

Keep your goal card on your bedside table and read it every morning when you wake up then read it before you go to bed. Wake up thinking about your goal and fall asleep thinking about your goal!! Remember where you put your attention and focus is where you go!! So the more you think about your goal, the more you develop your will, the more you imagine your goal, the more it will start take to take form! Now, if you want to take it to a whole other level, write out your goal and tape it to your bathroom mirror so that every time you are in there, you read your goal. Look yourself in the mirror and read your goal out loud to yourself. This also works great for affirmations. You want to be so connected to your goal.

Remember the two questions Bob Proctor often asks his TIR students in Lesson One:

1) Are you able and

2) are you willing?

If you are not taking daily action steps that are moving you closer to your goal, than you need to stop and ask yourself why? Maybe it’s your paradigm getting in the way or maybe you’re settling. But if you’re not moving closer to your goal each day, something is getting in the way.

I’ll leave you with these daily steps to take. This will help you achieve your goals.

  1. Read your goal a minimum of twice a day, morning and night.
  2. Write your goal out once a week.
  3. Take daily action steps as you move towards your goal.
  4. Ask yourself daily “Are you willing to do what it takes so you reach your goal?”

Keep up the great work!  If you want to learn more about how Thinking into Results program can help you, feel free to book a free coaching session with Doug or Jacquelyn.
